Painting with Plastic Easter Eggs!

Do you have what seems like 100′s of those plastic eggs rolling around your floor?

Wyatt has “hidden” them in so many places and it seems like I find another one every day. I didn’t want to just throw them away – I am all about re-purposing when possible. So I came up with this idea and I really love how it turned out!

It’s such a simple tutorial and I hope you’ll try it with your little one!
This is a great craft for ALL ages!

Simple + Sweet Steps:

1) Paint canvas background a solid color. (you don’t have to do this – I just loved the purple!)
2) Break apart the eggs
3) Use a sponge or paint brush to coat the rims with paint
4) Get to stamping!
5) Re-trace some of the circles with a paint brush to make them thicker – this is optional but when done makes the circles really unique and fun :)
6) Line the canvas with your favorite washi tape to finish it off!

So, what do you think?
Will you try this with YOUR little one?
