lately.

Lately I've been kind of loving the idea of saving money when I can.
Clipping coupons really does make a difference.
Today we went shopping for household items, but before we left I had everything written down -
and everything had a coupon.
We ended up saving $24.11 - and it was so easy!

I also finished the book above - which took me longer than I care to admit (and it's only 100 pages).
Don't get me wrong - I'm a pretty quick reader but I just haven't been making time for reading.
But now that I'm on a little "summer break" from my online courses - I've decided to make time.
And with my new library card in hand - there's no limit to the books I can read -
Well, after Wyatt goes to bed.

And my sweet hubby brought me home flowers today.
Don't you just love surprise flowers?
I really caught myself a good one.

So, now that I've caught the reading bug - I need recommendations for other great books to read!

Here are a few books I've come across that seem to be either being raved about - or just seem interesting.

Have you read any of these?
I'm starting Bringing Up Bebe tonight - I've heard amazing things about it!

  1. Have you read any Emily Giffin books? Or American Wife? Both VERY GOOD! Also A Bump in the Road and Not ready for mom jeans were great as was momzillas. All 3 of those are hysterically funny.

  2. Don't you just love saving money? Such a great feeling! Sounds like you have you a good man, love. Currently I'm reading Fifty Shades of Grey but I hear Bloom is such a great read. It is definitely next on my reading list. Also, I hear A Bump in the Road and Wild by Cheryl Strayed is a great read as well.

    1. Do you have a kroger in your area? We collect points there and then redeem them for cash off gas - we just filled up the other day and payed $2.99 per gallon! Is that how you saved?

  9. This post is full of awesomeness! I wish I could stick to a list and use coupons, It might cut down on the ten trips to the store I make during the week. I'm reading Unbroken right now, it had amazing reviews and so far so good. 50 shades and Hunger Games were both awesome.
